It's ironic how fast-food chains claim to be environmentally friendly by selectively using plastic, giving the impression of sustainability. However, the reality is that they still rely on plastic-based products. If a commitment to being plastic-free is made, it should be wholeheartedly embraced and implemented without exceptions.  Yesterday at the office, our refresher training was about mindfulness. So, what is mindfulness? According to Google, mindfulness is about being fully present in the moment, observing thoughts and feelings without attachment or judgment, and developing a sense of inner peace and calmness. It is a powerful practice that can help individuals cope with the challenges of daily life and improve their overall quality of life.   During our refresher training, some colleagues shared their processes on how to deal with stress and practice mindfulness. One colleague shared that they don't react in the heat of an argument and take a step back. Another shared that they do chores (e.g., washing dishes, cleaning, laundry) to calm their mind and take rest. As I reflected on the topic, I acquired some good tips on how to cope with stress and be mindful.   In my own experience, I love a long commute while listening to sad songs with my earpods. I was very sad during that time because my dad was brought to NKTI Hospital, and I had just finished crying while going home. I opted to ride the MRT since my house is in Taguig, so the travel was faster. When I boarded at GMA station, I sat at the end facing the window, so I could emote while going home. After a while, more and more people were boarding, and at Santolan station, I noticed someone standing behind me and I felt him pressing against me. At first, I just ignored it since it was crowded and rush hour, but as time passed, I started feeling something poking my backside and it was hard. I'm not a child anymore to act innocent, and I knew he was deliberately rubbing against my backside. I looked at the guy and saw that he was cute, fair-skinned, chubby, and of the same height. I smiled, and he smiled back at me, and the rest is history. So for the rest of the ride, he kept rubbing against my backside, and I felt the hardness of his "thing." I forgot t
