My First Pill Series - Part 2 - A walk to Remember
(1) Part 2 - This is the continuation in my First Pill series. The scheduled time to take my first pill was at 9 pm on April 17, 2017. However, due to fear, I made the decision not to take it. The following day, my mind, body, and soul were engaged in an internal struggle, contemplating the potential outcomes of both taking and not taking the medication. Time was ticking, and I knew I needed to take responsibility for my actions. I required the courage to face whatever lay ahead. As usual, I went to the office to work, answer emails, and attend client meetings. However, my mind was elsewhere. It felt as though I was operating on autopilot, aware that there were more pressing matters at hand. When my work shift ended, instead of heading straight home, I decided to walk. My house was just 5 kilometers away, and walking allowed me to clear my clouded mind. With each step, I engaged in an internal dialogue, asking myself myriad questions.
