Okay, so I've been meaning to write this review for ages, because Elite Spa in Sta. Mesa, Manila deserves some serious praise. Let me tell you, it's like stepping into a little oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

 

First things first, the staff is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and genuine warmth. They're incredibly attentive and always ready to cater to your needs, whether it's grabbing you a fresh towel or requests

 

The spa itself is a haven of cleanliness and serenity. It's not huge, but that's part of its charm. It feels intimate and secluded, which is exactly what you want when you're looking to de-stress and unwind. The decor is calming and elegant, and the soft lighting and calming music create a truly relaxing atmosphere.

 

Now, let's talk about the massage. I opted for their signature body scrub and combination massage, and let me tell you, it was pure bliss. The therapist (Ralph) was amazing - strong hands, intuitive touch, and he really knew how to work out those knots. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed.

 

Beyond the massage, Elite Spa offers a range of amenities that add to the overall experience. There's a steam room and a sauna, perfect for loosening up those muscles before or after your treatment. They also have a small lounge area where you can relax, sip on ice tea, water, coffee and get free cookies and cup noodles.

 

The crowd at Elite Spa is also a big plus. It's a mix of people, all looking to escape the stress of everyday life, and everyone is incredibly polite and respectful. It's a truly peaceful and welcoming environment.

 

Now, for the not-so-great parts. The location isn't the most accessible, especially if you're not familiar with the area. It's a bit of a trek, and public transportation isn't the easiest.

 

The space itself is quite small, which can be a bit cramped at times, especially if the spa is busy.

 

And lastly, the lockers could definitely use an upgrade. They're a bit outdated and not as secure as I'd like.

 

Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, Elite Spa is a true gem. The amazing staff, the relaxing atmosphere, the fantastic massage, and the welcoming crowd more than make up for the location and the few minor issues. If you're looking for a place to escape the stress of city life and indulge in some serious pampering, Elite Spa is definitely worth checking out. Just be sure to factor in some extra time for travel!
